Cooking with Dehydrated Food
Never cooked with dehydrated bulk food before? It's easy, and fun. You can actually use dehydrated food in place of any fresh ingredient you like. Simply calculate the quantity of dried food to use in your recipe based on our handy rehydration chart, and add it directly into soups, stews, sauces, casseroles, etc. The options are limitless! To saute or fry our dehydrated veggies, soak for 20 to 30 minutes, and add to your oiled frying pan.
When it comes to our dehydrated beans and legumes, we've done all the work for you. Unlike store-bought dry beans that need to be cleaned, then sorted, and soaked for hours, our dehydrated beans and legumes are ready to use. Simply simmer for 10-15 minutes, and that's it. Bon appetite!
