Instructions

  • Rehydrate potatoes, peppers and onions in hot water for 10–15 minutes. Drain well. 
  • In a skillet, heat oil or butter over medium heat. 
  • Add the soy bits and veggies. 
  • Cook until everything is golden and crispy (about 8–10 minutes). 
  • Top with eggs, cheese or avocado and serve warm.

Smoky Veggie Burger Patties 

Great for:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dehydrated beef style pieces (unflavored)  
  • 2 cups boiling water 
  • ½ cup dehydrated black beans flakes (rehydrated) 
  • ¼ cup dehydrated tomato dices (rehydrated) 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 
  • 1 tsp cumin 
  • 1 tbsp BBQ sauce 
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative) 
  • Salt & pepper 

Instructions

  • Rehydrate plant-based protein, black bean flakes and tomato dices in the boiling water. Drain well. 
  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and mash until a thick mixture forms. 
  • Shape into patties and cook in a skillet or grill pan for 3–4 minutes per side. 
  • Serve on a bun with Dad’s favorite toppings.
