Tomato Powder is one of the most versatile, useful dehydrated food products on the planet. Never Waste a Can of Tomato Paste Again


Replace a 6 ounce can of tomato paste by mixing: 1/4 cup Tomato Powder, 1/4 cup hot water, and salt to taste (1/4 tsp at least). Here are quick and easy recipes for substituting Tomato Powder for other common canned tomato products: 

Replace an 8 ounce can of tomato sauce by mixing: 1/4 cup Tomato Powder, 1/2 cup hot water, and salt to taste (1/4 tsp at least).

Replace a 16 ounce can of crushed tomatoes by mixing: 1/4 cup Tomato Powder, 3/4 cup hot water, and salt to taste (1/4 tsp at least).

Recipes and Ideas


Tomato Powder can replace fresh tomatoes in a recipe, but many of our customers like to add this ingredient to dishes made with fresh tomatoes to enhance the flavor. Tomato powder adds zip to your summertime garden-fresh salsa! 

Tomato Powder adds flavor to tasteless grocery store tomatoes. Sprinkle Tomato Powder on fresh cut tomato slices and allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.  

Make your own tomato juice! Just mix 2 to 4 tablespoons of Tomato Powder with 1 cup hot water, and salt to taste to make 8 ounces of juice. 

Tomato Powder adds depth to tomato based barbecue sauces. 

Tomato Powder is also a killer secret ingredient in dry rubs. Mix Tomato Powder and your other favorite dry rub ingredients, apply to chicken or beef and grill. Yum!

Tomato Powder enriches and thickens homemade stews and soups. Add a little powder, taste, then add a little more until you reach your desired level of tomato flavor!

Add Tomato Powder to your meatloaf recipe and you’ll never go back.
